He is always training for a 50k or 50 miler, and usually running at least 20-30 miles a week, if not more.
We eat mostly vegetarian and I make sure that he gets protein, but I am always looking for ways to get him more nutrition.
He is always hungry and I experiment with new recipes to get him more calories without the junk.
I love coming up with healthy and full of protein recipes that he loves and that I feel good about him eating!
It was half price! This is pretty much the most awesome whey protein that I have tried. It is such high quality and I feel good about Robbie drinking it. I’m not a huge fan of milk or milk products, as they can be highly processed.
Normal whey protein powders can be filled with junk. I personally have a slight dairy allergy, so I can’t drink whey protein, but Robbie loves it and it makes him feel great!
Robbie had a full day of hard work today, so I sent him out the door with this smoothie. He had breakfast, which was around 10 grams of protein, but I knew he’d need something else so he didn’t get hungry soon.
I made this shake small, but it’s loaded with nutrition. It has 20g of protein just in this small shake!
He drank half, then I sent the rest in a thermos for him to drink in his truck. This smoothie is super creamy and light, and would be perfect for a post workout meal, breakfast or snack!
