Ever since I was little, I remember having smoothies as snacks quite often. I love drinking smoothies for an easy and healthy breakfast or snack.Pretty much any fruit is guaranteed to taste good in a smoothie, but bananas are a necessity.
Frozen bananas give any smoothie a creamy texture when used in milkshakes/smoothies. I always make sure to use at least a few banana chunks no matter what flavor of smoothie I am making.
Make sure your bananas are ripe before freezing. They should easily fall off their stems. I just break mine into several pieces and freeze in a ziploc bag for easy access.
