Pregnancy cravings have been coming more often lately, and they are to thank for some of my new favorite things to eat – like this creamy chocolate breakfast smoothie!
I have always loved all things chocolate + peanutbutter, so this smoothie is right up my alley.
An added bonus is how easy this smoothie is to make.
When I am not feeling well first thing in the morning this doesn’t take long at all to throw together!
My requirements for breakfast are simple: it just needs to:
1) taste good
2) be easy to make
I got on a kick for awhile where this is all I wanted for breakfast every single day.
I just couldn’t get enough of it!
What I love about this recipe is how thick and creamy it is.
I like to make mine so thick that you have to eat it with a spoon – it’s like eating chocolate soft serve for breakfast!
Plus, with only 4 ingredients, it’s easy to stumble out of bed and make this in 3.2 seconds.
I can’t believe how delicious it tastes while secretly being healthy and good for you.
Chocolate for breakfast? Yes please!

Can I substitute regular chocolate milk instead of almond milk? I have someone in my house who is allergic to almonds.

Hi Bridget,
Yes, that would work! Let me know how it turns out!
