It’s finally October, which means that chances are your newsfeed is blowing up with all things pumpkin.

Pumpkin recipes are one of my favorite ways to celebrate the beginning of fall.

I’ve been dreaming in pumpkin lately and even sent my hubby out to buy 8 cans of pure pumpkin in case there was a shortage (true story.)

This Skinny Pumpkin Pie Smoothie is a healthy and easy dessert that you can make in just two minutes!

I love pumpkin pie, but the usual heavy and calorie filled recipes can leave me feeling sluggish.

This seriously tastes just like you’re eating a piece of pumpkin pie. It’s creamy, thick, and deliciously Pumpkin-y (is that a word?! it is now.)

One sip of this smoothie and you’ll fall in love. This would make a great breakfast or a healthy dessert if you’re trying to eat a little lighter.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen banana chunks
  • 1/2 cup pure pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup 2% milk

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend well
  2. Serve topped with whipped cream
