Homemade Salsa Recipe

This easy homemade salsa can be made in minutes in a food processor. Take Mexican night to the next level by making your own salsa at home!

Ingredients

  • 14.5 oz can petite diced tomatoes
  • 6 medium sized roma tomatoes diced into large chunks
  • ½ cup diced red onion
  • 4 cloves of garlic minced
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  • Add the canned tomatoes, roma tomatoes, red onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, and cumin to a food processor. Pulse in 1 second bursts until combined, but not totally liquid. Leave some chunks for texture
  • Add salt to taste
  • Cover and refrigerate the salsa for several hours for best flavor
