Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower cut into small florets
  • 1 cup water
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup Buffalo sauce

Instructions

  • Wash and cut the cauliflower into small florets. Size is important for optimal crispiness. See images in the post for size comparison
  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray
  • In a medium sized mixing bowl, add the water, all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and stir to combine.
  • Add the cauliflower florets, and stir/toss to coat
  • Place the cauliflower in the air fryer basket in an even layer using a slotted spoon for the excess batter to drip off. You will need to cook the cauliflower in two batches, as you only want to add it in an even layer without overlapping or overcrowding the cauliflower
  • Air fry at 400 degrees for 7-8  minutes, shaking half way through
  • Toss the air fryer cauliflower with the buffalo sauce
  • Air fry again at 400 degrees for an additional 5-7 minutes, until crispy
  • Serve with ranch or dressing of choice for dipping
