Sweet Potato Smoothie

- 2 cups steamed and frozen sweet potato cubes see notes
- 1 cup frozen banana chunks
- 2 tablespoons creamy almond butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 ⅓ cups milk of choice
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
Add the milk to the bottom of the blender first, then add the sweet potato cubes, frozen banana, almond butter, cinnamon, and pure maple syrup.
Blend until smooth
Pour into glasses and serve garnished with cinnamon
- To make the sweet potatoes, simply peel and chop up sweet potatoes into chunks, then steam until fork tender. Once steamed, allow to cool slightly, then transfer to a ziploc bag and freeze until solid before using. I usually do this overnight.
