Banana Bread Energy Bites

These no bake Banana Bread Energy Bites are a delicious healthy snack that you can make in minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup natural creamy peanut butter see notes
  • ¼ cup mashed ripe banana
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup vanilla protein powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons salt see notes
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a mixing bowl, then use a rubber spatula to mix it all together until a thick batter forms.
  • Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Use a mini cookie scoop to drop balls of batter onto the baking sheet.
  • Roll each ball with your hands to smooth out the edges.
  • Place the baking sheet with the energy bites on it in the refrigerator for 1 hour, or until the balls are hardened.
  • Transfer the energy bites to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator or freezer.

Notes

Natural peanut butter does not have added sweetener. The only ingredients should be peanuts and salt. 
If your peanut butter does not contain added salt: use the full amount listed in the recipe.
If your peanut butter has salt in the ingredients: only add ¼ teaspoon of salt, or salt the batter to taste.
