Cake Mix Banana Bread

This cake mix banana bread is so easy to make and tastes amazing!

Ingredients

  • 15 oz yellow cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/3 cups mashed overripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup oil or melted butter

Instructions

  • Mash the banana until no lumps remain.
  • Add the yellow cake mix, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, mashed bananas, and oil to a large bowl. Mix well to combine.
  • Spray a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray and pour the banana bread batter in, smoothing out the top.
  • Bake the banana bread at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. 
  • Allow the banana bread to cool completely before cutting.

Notes

You can substitute the oil for melted butter.
Make it your own! Mix in whatever you like from chopped nuts to chocolate chips, or use chocolate cake mix to make chocolate banana bread.
