Whisk together the salt, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and all-purpose flour in a mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the applesauce, grated carrots, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and maple syrup.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix until just combined.
Line an 8 by 8 baking dish with parchment paper.
Pour the batter in and smooth it out.
Bake the carrot cake bars at 375 degrees for 27-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
Cool the bars completely before frosting.
To make the frosting, beat the softened cream cheese in a bowl until fluffy.
Add the greek yogurt and beat to combine
Add the vanilla extract and powdered sugar and beat until smooth
Frost the cooled cake, then cut it into 12 squares.
