- 13.25 oz box chocolate cake mix
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted and slightly cooled
- 1 cup Christmas colored red and green M&M’s plus more for topping
Mix together the cake mix, eggs, and melted butter with mixers. Fold in the M&M’s using a rubber spatula.
Use a cookie scoop to scoop batter onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Top the cookie batter with additional m&m’s pressed into the top.
Bake the chocolate Christmas cookies at 350 degrees for 11-13 minutes, until the edges are set and start to crisp.
Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool for 3 minutes on the pan before transferring them to a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
