Ingredients

natural creamy peanut butter
the only ingredients should be peanuts and salt

pure maple syrup

vanilla extract

rolled oats
1 ½

semi-sweet chocolate chips

teaspoon
baking powder

teaspoon
salt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Beat together the peanut butter, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Add the oats, baking powder, and salt and mix until combined.
Fold the chocolate chips into the batter using a rubber spatula.
Grease a 9x13 dish with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
Spread the cookie bar batter out evenly and press it down. Add additional chocolate chips on top for garnishing, if desired.
Bake the cookie bars at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow the cookie bars to cool completely, then cut them into 16 pieces.
Notes
Store leftover cookie bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
