Ingredients

whole wheat flour

sea salt

teaspoon
baking soda

cane sugar

brown sugar
½
cup
unsalted butter
softened
½
cup
unsweetened apple sauce
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract
2
eggs

chocolate chips

cup
rolled oats
Instructions
Combine whole wheat flour, salt, and baking soda and stir with a whisk, set aside.
Beat the sugar, brown sugar, apple sauce, butter, and vanilla until well combined.
Add eggs to the cookie batter and beat well.
Add the dry ingredients slowly to wet, and mix until combined
Fold in the chocolate chips and rolled oats
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto a baking sheet
Bake at 350 for 12 - 15 minutes
Notes
To make these cookies dairy free, you can substitute vegan butter or margarine for the unsalted butter and use dairy free chocolate chips.
