Creamed Corn with Cream Cheese

Ingredients

  • 24 oz frozen corn
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour

Instructions

  • Melt the butter over medium heat in a sauce pan
  • Stir the flour in and whisk for one minute
  • Add the milk, heavy cream, salt, parmesan, and cream cheese and stir for 1 - 2 minutes until cream cheese is mostly melted
  • Add the frozen corn and continue to cook, stirring often, for around 15 minutes, or until corn is plump and sauce is thick and creamy
