Slow Cooker Creamed Corn

This easy creamed corn recipe is made in the slow cooker using just 5 simple ingredients! Southern style comfort food for any dinner or holiday.

Ingredients

  • 30 oz frozen sweet corn
  • 8 oz cream cheese cut into chunks
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter cut into slices
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese fresh grated

Instructions

  • Add the frozen corn kernels to a 4 quart slow cooker. Pour the milk over the corn and sprinkle the salt on top.
  • Cut the block of cream cheese into chunks and slice the butter into pats
  • Place the cream cheese chunks and butter slices on top of the corn. Do not stir. Place the lid on and turn the crock pot to high for 1.5 hours
  • Stir the melted butter and cream cheese into the creamed corn, then slo cook for another 15-30 minutes, until hot and creamy. Once the corn is done, stir in the fresh parmesan cheese until melted before serving
