Slow Cooker Creamed Corn

- 30 oz frozen sweet corn
- 8 oz cream cheese cut into chunks
- 1 cup whole milk
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter cut into slices
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup parmesan cheese fresh grated
Add the frozen corn kernels to a 4 quart slow cooker. Pour the milk over the corn and sprinkle the salt on top.
Cut the block of cream cheese into chunks and slice the butter into pats.
Place the cream cheese chunks and butter slices on top of the corn. Do not stir. Place the lid on and turn the crock pot to high for 1.5 hours.
Stir the melted butter and cream cheese into the creamed corn, then cook for another 15-30 minutes, until hot and creamy. Once the corn is done, stir in the fresh parmesan cheese until melted before serving
