Chocolate Peppermint Bark

- 10 oz dark chocolate chips
- 11 oz white chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 6 candy canes crushed
Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper (around 9 by 13 or smaller).
Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave in 30 second increments, until smooth. Stir in the peppermint extract until smooth.
Pour the dark chocolate onto the parchment paper lined baking sheet and smooth it out flat. Place the pan in the fridge to harden for 30 minutes.
Place the candy canes in a bag and use a rolling pin to crush them into small pieces.
Once the chocolate is almost done chilling, melt the white chocolate chips until smooth. Spread the white chocolate over the layer of hardened dark chocolate.
Sprinkle on the crushed candy canes. Chill the peppermint bark until set (30 mins - 1 hour), then break or cut into pieces.
