Drain tofu and place between kitchen towels with something heavy on top for 5-10 minutes.
Cut the tofu into cubes, and place them in a bowl.
Add 1-2 tablespoons of corn starch, or enough to coat the tofu. Stir gently until the tofu is coated with corn starch on all sides.
Heat enough olive oil in a skillet to lightly coat the bottom. Add the tofu and cook for about 20 minutes, stirring and turning frequently, until it is golden brown and crispy on all sides.
While the tofu is cooking, make a batch of this homemade orange sauce.
When the tofu is crispy on all sides, add the orange sauce and heat for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce sticks to the tofu.
Serve the orange tofu over white rice, and top with green onions and sesame seeds. Salt to taste.
Notes
Alternative ways to cook the tofu
In an air fryer: (no cornstarch needed) Spray your air fryer basket with olive oil. Place the cubed tofu inside, then spray the tops again with more spray. Air fry the tofu at 400 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes, checking to shake around every 5 minutes or so, until crispy
In the oven: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the tofu cubes on it. Spray with olive oil spray and bake at 400 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes, flipping at least once, until desired crispiness is achieved.
