This carrot orange smoothie is naturally sweet and tropical with a nice little zing from fresh ginger and just a pinch of cinnamon.

It’s a nutrient packed smoothie that could be great for helping to fight off a cold!

A simple and delicious way to get more fruit and veggies!

Ingredients to make a carrot smoothie

  • orange
  • whole carrots
  • frozen pineapple
  • fresh ginger
  • cinnamon
  • ice 
  • water

This carrot smoothie is naturally vegan, gluten free, and no added sugar. 

Just good old nature’s sweetness and nutrients!

My three year old who won’t eat vegetables 99% of the time demanded I take his picture drinking this smoothie because he loved it so much!

I’ll take that as a win anytime. 

Smoothies are such a great way to get kids to try new flavors and ingredients!

This recipe is intended to be made with a high speed blender for best smoothness and texture!

I have a blendtec and have been very happy with it. 

It can blend up raw ingredients beautifully!

Carrot Smoothie

Delicious carrot orange pineapple ginger smoothie recipe

Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes


  • 1 large orange, peeled
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 teaspoon peeled and chopped fresh ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups ice
  • 1/2 cup cold water


  1. Add all ingredients except ice to a high speed blender and blend until smooth
  2. Add ice and blend again until thick
