This carrot orange smoothie is naturally sweet and tropical with a nice little zing from fresh ginger and just a pinch of cinnamon.

Ingredients to make a carrot smoothie

  • orange
  • whole carrots, raw
  • frozen pineapple chunks
  • fresh ginger, peeled
  • cinnamon
  • ice 
  • water

How to make a carrot orange smoothie

Step 1: Peel the orange. Peel the carrots and cut them into chunks. Peel and dice up the the fresh ginger.

Step 2: Add the orange, carrots, ginger, frozen pineapple chunks, cinnamon, and water to a high speed blender. Blend on high until smooth.

Step 3: Add the ice and blend again until thickened. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Carrot Orange Smoothie

This easy carrot orange smoothie is so refreshing and packed with immune boosting goodness.

Ingredients 

  • 1 large orange, peeled
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups ice
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Instructions 

  • Add the orange, carrots, frozen pineapple chunks, ginger, cinnamon, and water to a high speed blender and blend until smooth
  • Add the ice and blend again until thick
  • Serve immediately

Notes

You will need a high speed blender (such as a vitamix or blendtec) for this recipe, as it can break down the raw carrot and ginger until smooth.
