Super thick and frosty smoothies are the best in my opinion.

Once you learn the best way how to make a smoothie, you won’t go back.

I love feeling like I’m eating ice cream almost!

That is the best smoothie texture in my opinion.

Nice and super thick, like my strawberry banana smoothie recipe.

This recipe does not disappoint.

I recommend using a high speed blender as this smoothie is intended to be very thick.

In order to use less liquid to get that frosty texture, you will need a blender that can handle blending up frozen fruit with ease.

ingredients to make a pineapple smoothie

  • frozen pineapple chunks
  • frozen banana chunks
  • plain unsweetened greek yogurt
  • unsweetened vanilla almond milk

The pineapple naturally sweetens this recipe, and the greek yogurt gives it some protein and a nice tangy flavor!

Will fresh pineapple work in this recipe?

I love fresh pineapple, however the consistency of this smoothie requires that it is frozen.

If you have fresh, just pop it in the freezer before making this!

Do I have to use almond milk?

No, you do not have to use almond milk.

Any milk that you have on hand will work!

Whole milk, 2% milk, almond milk, soy milk, or any basic milk will work just fine.

It is the pineapple and banana that you will be tasting!

The only milk that may change the flavor much is coconut milk, but if you like coconut flavored things, that would give this smoothie a nice tropical twist so I say go for it.

If you do not have a high powered blender, you may need to add more liquid to the desired consistency.

Just adjust as necessary!

This is one recipe you will be making time and time again.

It is so easy, and the perfect pick me up to satisfy any sweet tooth!
