If you are new to our juicing series, this recipe I am sharing today is the perfect place to start!

One of my top juicing tips for beginners is to add in apple to make the flavors of vegetables a little more palatable when you are not used to it yet. Adding apples to fresh juice makes it taste so good!

This green apple juice is the perfect introduction to juicing. It is light and sweet, hydrating, and doesn’t require a lot of prep work. It will yield 16 oz of juice, or you can double it to save some for later!

I love juicing and it is a staple in my self care routine. I notice a big difference now when I am not juicing and I find myself craving those extra nutrients. Juicing is my favorite way to get a big boost of vitamins and nutrients all at once and easily up my fruit and veggie intake for the day.

My kids are always asking me to make them juice since they see me making it so much. This juice tastes mostly like sweet apple and they love it! It has a very mild and refreshing sweet taste that makes it great for any palate.

How to Store

Fresh juice can be stored in an airtight jar with a lid in the refrigerator for 24-48 hours. I keep 4 oz, 8 oz, and 16 oz glass jars with lids on hand for storing juice.

Tip: Fill the jar all the way up to the top before putting the lid on for best freshness.

Juicing FAQs

Do I have to peel cucumber before juicing?

While you don’t have to peel cucumbers before juicing, I always do. I have found it yields a smoother juice this way. If you do not peel it, make sure that you wash the cucumber before juicing it.

Can I drink green apple juice every day?

Like everything else, this juice is best in moderation once or twice a week. Try mixing it up with by adding other fruits and vegetables into your weekly juicing!

Do I have to peel lemons before juicing them?

Yes, lemons should be peeled before juicing them. The lemon peel has a very strong flavor that would overpower your juice.
