This Iced Brown Sugar Latte comes out perfect every time. Skip the coffee shop and make this at home instead!

If you are like me, one of the main things that gets me out bed in the morning is my coffee. I am serious about my coffee!
Ever since I perfected my at home latte recipe, I rarely ever buy my coffee out. This iced brown sugar latte is my current favorite at home coffee treat!
It’s so easy to make and I have a few tips for you that will really take your drink to the next level.
This recipe was inspired by my favorite Starbucks brown sugar oat latte, but it’s even better!
Half the time when I go to Starbucks I leave frustrated when my drink isn’t right. Making it at home means I can get that ratio correct every time!

Iced brown sugar latte ingredients
- Milk: 2%, whole milk, oat milk, soy milk, or any milk of choice.
- Brown Sugar: the star of this latte! You can use sugar free brown sugar if needed.
- Espresso: You will need two shots of espresso for this recipe. I use my Nespresso machine for this.
- Ice

How to make a brown sugar iced latte
Step 1: Place the brown sugar in a glass and brew 2 shots of espresso over the top. When the espresso is finished brewing, use a spoon to vigorously stir it for 15-20 seconds.
Recipe Tip
Be sure not to skip this step! Stirring the espresso activates it and gives your latte a deeper flavor and smoother taste.

Step 2: Fill a glass with ice, measure out your milk, and pour it over the top.

Step 3: Pour the espresso with brown sugar over the milk and stir it to combine. Your brown sugar iced latte is ready to serve!

Ways to customize
- Add cinnamon: Use oat milk and add a dash of cinnamon to make a Starbucks inspired brown sugar oat milk latte.
- Switch up the milk: I like using a mix of soy and oat milk for my daily coffee.
- Add cold foam: Take it to the next level with a homemade or store bought coffee cold foam.
- Top with whipped cream: Top this latte with whipped cream and a sprinkle of brown sugar over the whipped cream for an extra indulgent drink.

I could drink this latte every day and never get tired of it! If you have been frustrated that your at home coffees never taste as good as the ones you buy out, this recipe is for you.
Once you learn how to make delicious lattes at home it is a game changer!
