Sweet, thick, creamy, and simple.

Just the way I like my smoothies!

This beautiful pink smoothie is made with frozen fruit for convenience and requires only a handful of ingredients that you probably already have on hand.

Ingredients to make a strawberry and pineapple smoothie

Frozen strawberries

Frozen pineapple

Plain greek yogurt – I love using this to add no sugar added protein to my smoothies.

Unsweetened vanilla almond milk – or any milk you have on hand!

Frozen banana chunks – perfect for helping to get that creamy texture in smoothies.

Can I use fresh strawberries and fresh pineapple instead?

You can! It will just make the smoothie less thick, so you may want to cut down on the liquid so that it isn’t too runny.

Can I use a flavored greek yogurt?

Any yogurt will work, just keep in mind a flavored yogurt most likely has added sugars in it and may make the smoothie much sweeter.

Can I use a fresh banana?

I don’t recommend it for this recipe, as the frozen banana really gives it that creaminess.

I like freezing several bunches of bananas in chunks for easy smoothie making!
