Carrot Juice Recipe
This is one of our favorite juicing recipes because it tastes amazing and is so simple to make. Carrots pair so well with any kind of juice, are naturally sweet, and packed full of vitamins and minerals!
Carrot juice is a powerhouse of nutrients including Vitamin C and Vitamin A. You can read all about the benefits of carrot juice here if you want. We love its sweet and refreshing taste!
Juicing is one of my favorite self care routines and I try to make fresh juice at least 3-4 times a week, if not more.
For me, it’s a fantastic way to get an extra boost of nutrients far and above what I would normally get in my day to day veggie and fruit intake. While I never replace meals with juicing, I have found it as a great addition to my lifestyle and really noticed a difference in how I feel!
When I was a teenager, I got started with juicing and carrot juice was one of my absolute favorites. I would buy the 25 pound bags from the grocery store and laugh when the cashier asked me if I had a horse!

Ingredients to make carrot juice
The full recipe and instructions can be found in the recipe card at the bottom of this post, but here is what you will need to make this fresh juice.
- Carrots
- Oranges
- Ginger

How to make carrot juice
Step 1: Prepare your ingredients. I often peel my carrots for a smoother taste, but this isn’t necessary. You can simply rinse and scrub off any dirt. Peel your oranges and cut them into quarters, and peel your ginger.

Step 2: Run all ingredients through a juicer. Drink the juice immediately, or store it for later.

The oranges give this juice a tropical sweetness and the fresh ginger adds a little fresh zing to it that is so good!

I usually will drink a carrot centric juice like this once a week or so to avoid getting too much beta carotene on a daily basis.

Otherwise, I try to incorporate 4-5 carrots in my other juicing recipes for a blend of flavors and nutrients.

Storing fresh juice
While it’s best to consume fresh juice immediately, you can also store it in the refrigerator for 24-48 hours. Store any leftover juice in an airtight glass jar with a lid in the refrigerator. I usually consume mine within 24 hours for the best freshness.
