How to prep your ingredients

  • carrots: peeled or washed and scrubbed
  • oranges: peeled and cut into slices
  • lemon: peeled and quartered
  • ginger: peeled

How to make carrot orange juice

Step 1: Prepare your ingredients. I usually peel my carrots for a smoother taste, but this isn’t necessary. You can also just rinse and scrub off any dirt.

Peel your oranges and cut them into quarters, and peel your ginger. Peel and cut your lemon into quarters.

Step 2: Run all of your ingredients through a juicer. Drink the juice immediately, or store it for later.

How to store

It is best to consume juice while fresh if you can, but I often will store leftovers in the refrigerator for the next day.

Leftover carrot orange juice can be stored in a glass or jar with an airtight lid for 24 hours in the refrigerator. I keep 4 oz, 8 oz, and 16 oz glass jars with lids on hand for storing leftover juice. Fill it to the brim before putting the lid on for best freshness.

When you are ready to drink the juice, shake the jar well before opening as the juice will separate naturally.
