You will love this celery juice!
Celery juice by itself is not that great tasting. But add in the brightness of fresh lemon, the refreshing flavor of cucumber, a little ginger, and a sweet green apple? Yum! This will definitely be your favorite way to drink celery!
Celery juice can be made with just celery, but as you can imagine the flavor is a bit strong. I like to make my celery juice a little sweeter with a crisp green apple and pair it with citrus and cucumber flavors. While you still taste the celery, this combination is much more flavorful and easy to drink!
I love juicing and celery is often a staple for me. When I go to the grocery store I typically buy 3-4 bunches of celery for the week and use it in all kinds of juicing recipes. It yields a good amount of juice, is easy to wash and prepare, and is naturally hydrating.
Juicing is a weekly part of my routine and I am always including celery in my recipes. It pairs well with just about any fruit or veggie. My only caveat is that I don’t like the taste by itself. But paired with other fruits and vegetables, I love it!
You can find the full recipe amounts and instructions at the bottom of the post, but here are the ingredients you need to make this celery juice.

How to make celery juice
Step 1: Prepare all of your juicing ingredients first. Wash the celery and cut the ends off. Remove the peel from the lemon and ginger. Wash, core, and slice the green apple into small pieces. Peel the cucumber and cut into long strips to fit into the juicing chute.
Step 2: Run all the ingredients through a juicer. Drink the juice right away, or store it for later in the refrigerator. Instructions for storage can be found below.
I love the lightly sweet taste of this juice. Green apples are one of my favorite natural ways to sweeten any kind of green juice. It pairs so well with the flavors of celery and the freshness of the lemon!
Do I have to peel cucumbers and apples before juicing?
No, you don’t have to peel either. However, I have found that my juice will be smoother when I peel the cucumber first. Apple skin is so thin that I just leave that on when juicing.
Is juicing or blending better?
Juicing removes the fiber from your fruits and vegetables, so some people debate if juicing or blending is better to do. For me, juicing helps me to consume many more fruits and vegetables by drinking them and it’s a great way to get a lot of nutrients all at once.

How to store
Homemade juice is really best when served fresh, but you can also store it in the refrigerator for up to 24-48 hours.
Store leftover celery juice in an airtight jar with a lid in the refrigerator for 1-2 days. I usually try to drink any leftover juice within 24 hours for best freshness.
Tip: Fill the glass all the way to the top before putting the lid on for best results.
