How to make White Chocolate Strawberry Ghosts

Step 1: Wash off the strawberries and pat dry. For the chocolate to stick well, it is important to dry these very well.

Step 2: Melt the white chocolate chips. I usually do this in the microwave in 15-30 second increments.

White chocolate is very finicky and can burn very quickly. Make sure to stir often and do not cook for more than 15 seconds or 30 at most.

You can also use the double boiler method to melt the white chocolate.

Step 3: Dip each strawberry in the white chocolate, then place on a wax paper lined baking sheet, dragging the bottom a little to make a little ghost tail.

Step 4: Add the googly candy eyes onto the strawberry ghosts and use a toothpick to swirl an “o” shape where the mouth is for a spooky look!

Step 5: harden the strawberry ghosts in the fridge until the chocolate is firm.

Now for the fun part: eating these adorable little white chocolate dipped strawberries!

Serve them up on a festive plate with some halloween candy and you have an easy and fun Halloween dessert spread.

This would be a great recipe to let the kids help make. Little hands are great helpers for dipping the strawberries into the chocolate.
