Blueberry pie smoothie – a sweet tooth drink for breakfast or dessert full of juicy blueberry flavor.
When I first handed Robbie a glass of this smoothie, he took a sip and said it tasted like blueberry pie.
I made this last night for a late night snack for all of us before Crosby went to sleep.
My child, who barely eats anything, sat still for over five minutes guzzling down this smoothie. He absolutely loved it!
Ingredients to make a blueberry pie smoothie
- lemon zest
- frozen banana chunks
- frozen blueberries
- rolled oats
- plain 0% greek yogurt
- pure maple syrup
- unsweetened vanilla almond milk
They say when life hands you lemons to make lemonade, but in this case I’m making lemon zest to go in this smoothie 😂
There are a lot of ways to look at Crosby’s eating situation as all lemons, but today I’m choosing to see it as lemonade.

This has not only been great for content for this blog, but it also has helped me stretch myself and try foods and combinations I wouldn’t normally think of.
This crazy little boy has brought out my creative side and I love him for it.
This smoothie is full of tons of frozen blueberries, fresh lemon zest, creamy frozen bananas, rolled oats, greek yogurt, and sweetened with just a bit of pure maple syrup.
The oats + cinnamon really put the “blueberry pie” in this blueberry pie smoothie.
As usual, I made a huge smoothie (no surprise here.)
I’m the worst at making small smoothies but I don’t even care.
We love having a huge smoothie for a late night snack or dessert. It is so satisfying!
Isn’t the color just gorgeous?
It was so good that I made it again the next morning for breakfast.
I preferred it as dessert, as I don’t have much of a sweet tooth in the morning.
If you wake up craving sweets then you’ll be all over this!

- 1 cup frozen banana chunks
- 3 cups frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
