Summer is here and strawberries are so juicy and amazing this time of year!
If you find yourself with more strawberries than you know what to do with, this recipe is a delicious refreshing treat that you can make in minutes!
While I love my strawberry banana smoothie recipe, this recipe doesn’t use any bananas. I wanted to mix it up!
Perfect for all of you who don’t like bananas in their smoothies!
Ingredients to make a strawberry smoothie
- greek yogurt
- rolled oats
- frozen pineapple
I used 2 pounds of fresh strawberries, and it was strawberry heaven!
They were so fresh and smelled amazing.
How to make a strawberry smoothie
Just cut off the tops of the strawberries and throw them in the blender.
Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
Add ice to desired consistency when blending.
Pour into glasses and serve!
The greek yogurt gives it a little tanginess, and rolled oats add more of a strawberry pie-ish flavor.
If you don’t like oats, feel free to leave them out. But I loved the flavor that they added.
It’s really personal preference!
