The full recipe and instructions can be found in the recipe card at the bottom of the post, but here are the ingredients that you will need.

Ingredient Notes

  • mayo: regular mayonnaise
  • bbq sauce: regular bbq sauce, not spicy
  • mustard: plain mustard
  • honey: just a little bit to sweeten
sauce in a white ramekin with fries in a bowl and a whisk

Recipe Tip

I have found that using a whisk results in the perfect creaminess and lets the mayo combine completely into the sauce. Sometimes a spoon won’t be able to mix it quite as well. Just whisk together the mayo, mustard, bbq sauce, and honey in a bowl and serve!

It’s really that easy. No fancy ingredients. Probably all stuff that you already have on hand!

  1. I didn’t have honey , but I did have honey bbq. I just added a pinch of sugar and turned out awesome! Thank you!!

  2. I do not know where in the world this dip is being used, but it looked so appetizing! I made it and it just blew my mind. I wonder how the original one would taste, I used normal English mustard, our type BBQ sauce and local produced honey with one of the many brands of mayonnaise. Thank you very much!

  5. What brands do you use? Not all brands taste alike. I just made and it is very good, however just a bit sweet so I will cut back on the honey.

    1. I use original flavored bbq sauce. honey bbq or other sweeter flavors may have caused this too be too sweet.

  6. Now We don’t have to walk in to Chick Fil-A stealing handfuls of their sauces! Delicious!
