How to make Chip Dip with Sour Cream
To make chip dip from scratch is so simple. This recipe uses all pantry spices making it easy for any time of year!

Step 1: Add the sour cream, garlic powder, minced onion, dill weed, chives, parsley flakes, and salt to a large bowl.

Step 2: Stir the dip well to combine. Place the dip back into the sour cream container, and cover with the lid. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve.

This dip is so flavorful, and I love it because it uses all spices that can be found in the spice aisle.

How long can a sour cream dip sit out?
It is recommended that sour cream based dips are not left outside of the fridge past two hours.
Just be sure to cover it back up and stick it in the fridge before that amount of time!

This easy potato chip dip is the perfect appetizer! Simple and delicious sour cream dip recipe.
Ingredients
- 16 oz sour cream
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- 2 teaspoons freeze dried chives
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Add sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, dill weed, chives, parsley, and salt to a bowl, and mix well to combine.
- For easy storage, place the chip dip back into the 16 oz sour cream container with the lid.
- Chill before serving
- Serve chip dip with chips, crackers, and veggies of choice
