Fruit salad is one of my new favorite things to prep for us during the week.
This fruit salad recipe uses simple, fresh fruit and an easy honey lime dressing. It’s quick to make and tastes so good!
Ingredients to make fruit salad
All you need is just 6 ingredients!
Many fruit salad recipes call for sugar, which I think is ridiculous. Fruit itself is naturally sweet!
Instead of adding unnecessary unhealthy ingredients, I instead added just a touch of honey for sweetness, and let the natural sweet flavor of the fruit itself shine through.
I used pineapple, strawberries, blueberries and grapes for my fruit salad recipe.
I had intended to use blackberries, but mine were bad when I opened up the package. You can mix and match your favorite fruits, there are so many possibilities!
I also discovered that Crosby loves blueberries soaked in fruit salad juices, so that’s a mom win for me!
Anyone with a toddler knows how picky they are, and seeing him tear up some blueberries AND a green smoothie in the same day is making me so happy!
How to prep fruit salad
- Chop up your pineapple into chunks
- Rinse and slice or halve strawberries
- Rinse and slice grapes in half
- Rinse blueberries
- Add all fruit to a bowl
- Drizzle on honey lime dressing and stir well to combine
It takes a bit to chop up everything, but it is so worth it!
We have really enjoyed having ready made fruit to grab for a quick and healthy snack.
This recipe also makes a HUGE amount, so you’ll have leftovers for days.
The honey lime dressing is my favorite part. It really marries all of the fruit flavors together and adds a tangy sweet twist!
Be sure not to skip out on the lime zest, it really adds a lot of flavor!
If you’re making this for a party, I recommend making it ahead of time and letting it chill in the fridge for at least an hour to let the fruit get cold and the dressing to marinate.
Tip for serving your fruit salad
Be sure to stir your fruit salad each time that you get it out of the fridge.
This will ensure that the dressing is evenly distributed on all of that yummy fruit!

Fruit Salad Recipe
The best easy fruit salad recipe with simple honey lime dressing
- 1 pineapple, diced into chunks
- 2 lbs strawberries, sliced or halved
- 1 pint fresh blueberries
- 2 cups grapes, halved
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 lime, zested
- juice of 1/2 a lime
- Add pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, and grapes to a large bowl
- In a small dish, add honey, lime zest, and lime juice
- Stir dressing to combine
- Pour dressing over salad and stir
- Allow to chill in the fridge at least one hour or more
- Store leftovers in the fridge
I halved the small strawberries, but some of the bigger ones I sliced into 3 - 4 pieces for easier eating
