How to make honey brown sugar glazed carrots
Step 1: Rinse the baby carrots in a colander and pat completely dry. Baby carrots straight out of the bag usually have a lot of liquid, so this step is important. The glaze will absorb better onto dry carrots.
Step 2: Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add the baby carrots and brown sugar.
Step 3: Pour the honey over the top of the brown sugar carrots and stir it all together. Cook the carrots over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring regularly, until the glaze thickens and coats the baby carrots.
Salt to taste then serve the carrots immediately and enjoy! These are really so simple and a favorite with anyone who tries them. The sweetness of the honey and brown sugar glaze is so delicious and even my kids will happily eat these!
Carrots are a great side dish for Thanksgiving, and these would be an easy addition to your holiday table!
I suggest making a double or triple batch depending on how many people you will be cooking for. One batch makes around 6 side dish servings.
