They have quickly become one of our favorite ramen noodle recipes! Stir fry recipes are a big hit in our house and we make them regularly.
We love using ramen noodles in asian inspired dishes like cabbage stir fry, ramen noodle stir fry, and mushroom ramen noodles.
I love the versatility of these noodles once you chuck that spice packet! There are so many ways to make boring ramen noodles taste restaurant quality in your own kitchen.

Ingredients to make sesame garlic ramen
- Ramen noodles: flavor packets discarded
- Minced garlic
- Sesame oil
- Brown sugar
- Soy sauce
- Green onions and sesame seeds: to garnish

How to make sesame garlic ramen noodles
Step 1: Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, and discard the spice packet that comes with it.

Step 2: While the ramen noodles are cooking, mince up the fresh garlic. Once the ramen has finished boiling, drain it and set it aside.

Step 3: In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil.

Add the minced garlic and cook, stirring constantly for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.

Step 4: Add in the brown sugar and soy sauce and whisk or stir until combined.

Step 5: Toss the cooked ramen noodles with the sesame garlic sauce and serve immediately.

How to serve
We love a simple garnish of fresh chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Chopped peanuts or siracha would be other yummy additions you could try!

I ate a big bowl of these for lunch today and they were so yummy! This one is definitely a keeper.

I discovered when I created my homemade stir fry sauce that sesame oil and soy sauce are the essential ingredients that you need when making takeout style dishes at home.
Fresh minced garlic takes this dish to the next level!
