Chocolate covered pretzels are an easy salty sweet dessert that is perfect for any occasion!
Chocolate covered anything is delicious in my book, and these chocolate covered pretzels are no exception.
These chocolate pretzels and my chocolate covered almonds are my go to recipes when I am craving salty sweet and crunchy!
Some of our other favorite no bake chocolate covered dessert recipes include chocolate covered cashews, pecan pie balls, chocolate covered oreos, oreo balls, and ritz cracker cookies.
This sweet treat is easy to make and looks impressive.
Make a batch of these for any holiday or to give as a gift!
Chocolate pretzels and peanut clusters are two great easy to make holiday gifts for friends and family.
All you need is just 3 ingredients and around 20 minutes or less to make these chocolate pretzels.
Ingredients needed
- mini pretzels
- white vanilla melting wafers
- dark chocolate melting wafers
I find melting wafers easier to work with for this recipe, as they melt so smoothly.
How to make chocolate covered pretzels
Reserve 1/3 cup of the white chocolate wafers and 1/3 cup of the dark chocolate wafers and set aside.
Step 1: Melt the remaining dark chocolate wafers in a small bowl in the microwave, until smooth.
Step 2: One at a time, dip two cups worth of pretzels into the melted dark chocolate, tap off excess chocolate, and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet
Step 3: Melt the remaining white chocolate wafers in the microwave until smooth.
Step 4: One at a time, dip 1 ¾ cups of pretzels in the white chocolate, tap off the excess chocolate, and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet
Step 5: Place the pretzels in the fridge to allow the chocolate to harden.
Step 6: Melt the remaining ⅓ cup of dark chocolate wafers.
Drizzle over the white chocolate pretzels.
Step 7: Melt the remaining ⅓ cup of white vanilla wafers.
Drizzle over the dark chocolate pretzels.
Place the chocolate pretzels back into the fridge until the chocolate sets.
Serve and enjoy once the chocolate has hardened!
This recipe will make around 90-100 mini pretzels.
I prefer to store mine in an airtight container in the fridge and eat within 1-2 weeks.
I love to keep any extras in the freezer for a quick dessert when my sweet tooth craving hits.
