How to make mint oreo truffles

Step 1: Place the oreos in a food processor. Process into crumbs. If you do not have a food processor you can place the oreos into a ziploc bag and crush them up.

Step 2: Add the softened cream cheese to the oreo crumbs. Run the food processor to start incorporating the cream cheese into the oreo filling. Remove the mixture into a bowl and finish mixing it with a rubber spatula until the cream cheese is completely mixed in.

Step 3: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Use a cookie scoop or spoons to drop batter onto the sheet. This recipe will make around 24 oreo truffles. Roll each truffle with your hands to smooth out the edges.

Step 4: Place the truffles in the refrigerator or freezer to chill for one hour. Be sure to chill these long enough, or they will be too sticky and make a mess when you try to dip them into the melted chocolate.

Step 5: Melt the  dark chocolate melting wafers until smooth. Dip half of the Oreo balls in dark chocolate melting wafers and place them back onto the lined baking sheet.

Step 6: Melt the vanilla melting wafers and dip half of oreo balls in them. Place them back onto the lined baking sheet.

Place the truffles back into the refrigerator to allow the chocolate to set. This will take just a few minutes.

Step 7: Drizzle leftover melted white chocolate over the white chocolate covered truffles. Drizzle leftover melted dark chocolate over the dark chocolate covered truffles. Place the oreo balls back into the refrigerator until the chocolate coating is set.
