how to serve

Serve these any way you like! You can eat them whole or cut into strips.

These portobellos would make a great topping on your dinner protein, or serve it alone as a meatless main dish!

These remind me of steakhouse mushrooms and the Worcestershire sauce gives them so much flavor.

You could also serve these as a portobello burger for a steakhouse style vegetarian main dish!

These would make great mushroom “steaks.”

  1. This recipe produced excellent tasting results. Instead of the Worcestershire sauce I used a good sized slug of mushroom ketchup which really made for a deep mushroom flavour. I sliced them up and included them into egg, cheddar, mozzarella and sausage breakfast wraps. Nothing at all left on any plate!
