Air Fryer Frozen Cauliflower

Can you put frozen vegetables in an air fryer? Yes! This air fryer frozen cauliflower is crispy, perfectly roasted, and requires hardly any prep time!

Air fryer frozen vegetables, Air Fryer Frozen Brussel Sprouts and Air Fryer Frozen Broccoli are some of our favorite quick dinner sides.

If you have a bag of frozen veggies, olive oil spray, and a basic spices, you can make an easy and delicious side dish that requires almost no time to prep!

I fell in love with the convenience of recipes like my roasted frozen cauliflower and roasted frozen broccoli for a quick dinner side.

This recipe is inspired by those, but instead using hands down my favorite kitchen appliance – the air fryer!

How to air fry frozen cauliflower

Step 1: spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray. This will help the cauliflower not stick.

Step 2: Place the frozen cauliflower florets into the air fryer basket.

Can you cook from frozen in the air fryer?

Yes, and it is actually recommended whenever cooking frozen vegetables!

I have found that in order to get the best texture (no sogginess) for frozen vegetables like broccoli or cauliflower, it is important not to thaw them at all before cooking.

If you want a recipe for fresh cauliflower, try making this air fryer cauliflower instead as the cook time and method varies for fresh versus frozen.

Step 3: Spray the cauliflower with olive oil spray, then sprinkle on the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Give it a good shake to mix the spices around.

Step 4: Air fry at 400 degrees for 15-25 minutes, stirring at least once, until desired level of crispy.

I suggest air frying for 10 minutes, giving it a shake and stir, then air fry another 10-15 minutes, until nice and crispy.

The texture is what makes this frozen cauliflower recipe so fabulous!

Air Fryer Frozen Cauliflower

This air fried frozen cauliflower is the best easy crispy side dish! Learn how to make frozen vegetables in the air fryer taste delicious.

Ingredients

  • 24 oz frozen cauliflower florets
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¾ teaspoon onion powder
  • olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray, then place the frozen cauliflower florets in the basket. For best results, do not allow cauliflower to thaw at all prior to baking, place it straight from the freezer into the air fryer.
  2. Spray the cauliflower with olive oil spray, then sprinkle on the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Give the basket a shake to mix the spices around.
  3. Air fry at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Stir and shake the basket, then air fry an additional 5-15 minutes, until desired level of crispiness.
  4. Serve immediately
