Ingredients

  • 24 oz frozen sweet corn
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 ½ tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Melt butter and honey in a large skillet
  • Add the frozen sweet corn and stir over medium heat for 6 – 8 minutes
  • Add the cream cheese and cook an additional 4 – 5 minutes, stirring often, until melted and creamy
  • Salt and pepper to taste and stir right before serving

Notes

The corn will get creamier and thicker the longer it sits, so if it is a little liquid-y, let it sit a few minutes and stir right before serving.

I have made this recipe twice now. Used fresh super sweet corn I cut off the cob and milk I scraped out the second time. Used less butter and less honey because well corn is already super sweet. I also only used 2 tablespoons of cream cheese. Wow I recommend going fresh.

@Roberta, I wouldn't think so because of the dairy in the recipe.
