How to make pumpkin cream cheese dip
First, add your cream cheese block to a bowl (no need to soften it first, this recipe is super easy!)
Use a hand mixer to beat the cream cheese until fluffy.
I prefer to use a hand mixer instead of breaking out the full sized mixer.
This is the hand mixer that I have and I love it! I have used it for years and it still works great.
Plus I’m kind of obsessed with how cute it is! My favorite color.
Less cleanup, no fuss, and simple technique to use hand mixers.
I actually prefer to use them over a standard mixer any day!
Be sure to beat the cream cheese first before adding the other ingredients, as it will help the texture stay soft and creamy and allow the cream cheese to mix in perfectly.
We don’t want any weird lumps in our dip.
Once you have beaten the cream cheese to fluffy perfection, it’s time to add in the other ingredients!
Add in your canned pumpkin, greek yogurt, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, maple syrup, and sugar.
Use your hand mixer to beat until nice and creamy.
I used 1/4 cup of pure maple syrup and 2 tablespoons of sugar to make my dip sweet, but not overly sweet.
If you desire an even more sweet dip, just add in some more granulated sugar until the sweetness is to your liking.
Once you have made your dip, place in the fridge until chilled and it’s ready to serve!
Classic favorites to pair with pumpkin dip are apples and graham crackers, but I could totally get down with pretzels, wafers, and more!
This pumpkin cream cheese dip recipe makes a large batch and would be the perfect party food.
Heck, I want to throw a fall themed party just for an excuse to make this for friends and family!
Serve in a bowl on a platter surrounded with all of the dipping options!
If you’re planning a fall themed party soon, this will be a hit with your guests.
No fuss, delicious dessert dips are basically the best.
If you prefer sweet on sweet, apples may be your favorite to dip with.
If you are a salty sweet lover like me, try something like pretzels to get your salty sweet fix!
This recipe can be made in 10 minutes and tastes like fall in every bite.
