This corn recipe is so simple to make and requires hardly any prep work! While I love slow cooker creamed corn, this one is ready in a fraction of the time and tastes just as delicious.

Ingredients Needed

  • frozen sweet corn
  • heavy cream
  • milk
  • butter
  • fresh grated parmesan cheese
  • cream cheese
  • salt
  • all purpose flour

How to Make Creamed Corn With Cream Cheese

Step 1: Add the butter to a saucepan and melt it.

Step 2: Add the flour and whisk for a minute, then add your heavy cream, salt, parmesan cheese, cream cheese, and milk.

Step 3: Once the sauce is melted together, add in your frozen corn and heat until the corn is plump and the sauce is thick and creamy. Serve and enjoy!

Creamed Corn with Cream Cheese

This southern style creamed corn recipe with cream cheese makes the best side dish for the holidays or any occasion!

Ingredients 

  • 24 oz frozen corn
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • â…“ cup parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour

Instructions 

  • Melt the butter over medium heat in a sauce pan
  • Stir the flour in and whisk for one minute
  • Add the milk, heavy cream, salt, parmesan, and cream cheese and stir for 1 – 2 minutes until cream cheese is mostly melted
  • Add the frozen corn and continue to cook, stirring often, for around 15 minutes, or until corn is plump and sauce is thick and creamy
